A certain alien character, whose presence in the new Doctor Who TV
series has been heavily advertised in the press, had its first
publicity photos this week in the British media. If you want to see
what the creature will look like, visit the new series news page on
http://www.gallifreyone.com - two nice photos there right now. If
you don't know which creature this is, it's the one who the Doctor
Who series lost the rights to in negotiations, only to get the
rights to use after all a month later. That page also provides some
rumors as to what said creature may be doing in the series. If you
don't want to know who this creature is, don't click on that link.
Don't expect any cameo appearances by Tom Baker, Peter Davison,
Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, or Paul McGann. Russell T. Davies is
quoted in the UK Teletext and the Daily Mail saying that cameo
appearances could distract viewers and won't be happening.
The Starz! movie channel suite in the US http://www.starz.com has
announced when the 1996 Doctor Who Movie will air in December. After
several turns on (Encore) Mystery, Doctor Who is moving to the youth
